Privacy
How DatumLab handles your data: every calculation runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
What stays on your device
Every measurement, tolerance, and feature size you enter is processed in the page itself. None of it is transmitted to a server, because there is no server side to this tool: the site is a set of static files.
Two items are written to your browser's local storage so your work survives a reload: the workspace inputs under the key datumlab.workspace.v1, and your saved cases under datumlab.cases.v1. Both are readable and removable from your own browser settings, and clearing site data removes them permanently. The export button writes a JSON file directly to your device and uploads nothing.
What we collect
No account, no sign in, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics of the values you enter. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time, and a network address, in the ordinary way that any web server records a request.
Cookies
DatumLab sets no cookies of its own and uses no third party tracking scripts.
Children
The site is a technical study aid and is not directed at children under 13.
